Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000 annually

Superior Hospice, a new branch of Home Health Care, Inc., is redefining hospice care across Minnesota. We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as an on-call expert for our growing patient base. This role is perfect for an RN who thrives under pressure, seeks work‑life balance through a 7 on / 7 off model, and finds meaning in guiding families through life’s most sensitive transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to after-hours calls for symptom management, crisis care, or family support
- Provide in-home skilled nursing care, assessments, and interventions
- Deliver emotional guidance to patients and caregivers during sensitive moments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans as needed
- Document all visits and phone calls accurately and timely in our EHR system
- Educate families on comfort care and end-of-life expectations
- Triage patient needs via phone and determine appropriate next steps
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- Hospice, oncology, or palliative care experience required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to remain calm in urgent situations
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and medical teams
- Willingness to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
