This Preop/PACU nursing position will be working 60 hours every two weeks on the evening shift, 10‑hour shifts and rotating weekends. Off‑premise call is required. The position does require the ability to work D/N off‑premise call shifts as assigned (staff rotation of weeknights and weekends) and meet unit requirement for call response time.

• Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care.
• Develops an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs.
• Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes.
• Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership‑based health care.
• Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of evidence‑based practice (EBP).

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• A minimum of two years current RN experience in Adult and/or Pediatric Critical Care is required.
• Hospital‑based Adult and Pediatric PACU experience required within the past six months.
• NICU‑only experience is not applicable to minimum criteria.
• ACLS and PALS certification required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• 2 years experience as RN in PACU, ICU, ED or other Critical Care areas.
• Certification in a related specialty is highly desired.
