Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Cardiology

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Cardiology Clinic position requiring MN RN licensure and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

• Active MN RN license required (license in hand preferred; otherwise must apply through state licensure process upon offer acceptance)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology specialty required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with chart preparation, pharmacy calls/refill requests, telephone triage, medication reconciliation, and interpretation of lab results preferred
• Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
• Must provide copies of certifications and Nursys verification for consideration

• Outpatient Clinic setting within the Advanced Heart Failure Clinic
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No call requirements
• Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication refills, follow-up phone calls, and coordination of cardiology outpatient care
• Must complete pre-start training modules prior to assignment start
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted for this specialty
• Previous Allina perm staff or per diem employees must have a 3-month gap since their last shift to be eligible
• RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days during the assignment
