About Heartstrings Pet Hospice
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately owned, rapidly growing in‑home euthanasia and end‑of‑life care practice founded on compassion, dignity, and respect. We are expanding into Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Oakdale and other surrounding areas and seek exceptional Associate Veterinarians to practice meaningful medicine in a supportive, values‑driven environment.
Position OverviewAs an Associate Veterinarian you will provide compassionate, gentle in‑home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. You work independently in the field while being fully supported by a collaborative medical leadership team, dedicated Veterinary Care Specialists (VCS), and strong operational infrastructure. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, emotional fulfillment, and a low‑stress medical environment.

- Interested in a long‑term role with a privately owned practice; hospice or palliative care experience is a plus but not required
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary school
- Active or able to obtain a veterinary license in the state of practice
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Availability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Background check and MVR check post‑hire
