Commercial Real Estate Analyst

This team is building a stronger, more disciplined lease administration function across a growing national portfolio of office, industrial, retail, and healthcare properties. That means real influence over how leases get set up, how recoveries get billed, and how critical dates get controlled. You will join a small, close-knit lease administration team with a hands‑on manager who works alongside the team, and there is a real path to a senior role as the group grows.

You will read signed leases and turn them into accurate system records, rent schedules, tenant charges, key dates, and reports. The signed lease is the source of truth, and you are the person who makes sure everything downstream matches it.

• Abstract and summarize leases, amendments, renewals, assignments, subleases, and terminations, and decide which document controls when terms conflict (the top priority from day one)
• Set up and maintain lease records, recurring charges, fixed and CPI escalations, and percentage rent in the lease or property accounting system
• Prepare or support CAM, operating expense, real estate tax, and insurance estimates and year‑end reconciliations, applying caps, base years, and gross‑ups exactly as written
• Own critical‑date controls: rent commencement, options, notices, expirations, renewals, and insurance requirements
• Reconcile the lease, rent roll, lease system, and billing schedules and resolve differences quickly
• Support month‑end close, budgets, audits, acquisitions, and system data transfers with clean, traceable lease data

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 or more years of commercial real estate lease administration, tenant recovery, or property accounting experience
• Working knowledge of base rent, escalations, CAM, operating expenses, taxes, insurance, and tenant billing
• Experience with at least one lease administration, property management, or real estate accounting system
• Strong Excel: reconciliations, lookups, pivot tables, and schedules others can follow

• MRI, Yardi, or JD Edwards experience
• Large or multi‑entity portfolios, straight‑line rent, estoppels, SNDAs, or letters of credit
• Audit, internal controls, or acquisition and disposition experience
• Comfort using automation or AI tools and checking results against source documents
