Job Overview
Cub Minnehaha is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time bookkeeper position. Bookkeepers at Cub perform daily store accounting procedures, provide management with accurate and timely reporting of the store’s cash flow, and ensure proper security and confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure positive customer relations and satisfaction
- Perform daily store accounting procedures
- Conduct security procedures for the bookstore office, information, and contents
- Maintain a clean and efficient organization of the bookkeeping office
- Perform front‑end duties
- Assist with front‑end maintenance and cleaning
- Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, telephone, etc.)
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
- Ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Good judgment for times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum age 18 years or older
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
- Early morning shifts
- Weekends required

Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
