PT Bookkeeper

Job Overview

Cub Minnehaha is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time bookkeeper position. Bookkeepers at Cub perform daily store accounting procedures, provide management with accurate and timely reporting of the store’s cash flow, and ensure proper security and confidentiality.

• Ensure positive customer relations and satisfaction
• Perform daily store accounting procedures
• Conduct security procedures for the bookstore office, information, and contents
• Maintain a clean and efficient organization of the bookkeeping office
• Perform front‑end duties
• Assist with front‑end maintenance and cleaning

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, telephone, etc.)
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment for times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum age 18 years or older

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
