Area Sales Manager – Northern California
Location:
Northern California
- Achieve and exceed capital equipment sales quota for the assigned territory.
- Apply professional, ethical sales techniques to close new business.
- Develop deep product knowledge through training and competitive analysis.
- Generate awareness and demand through prospecting, lead follow-up, and strategic events.
- Identify prospective customers via referrals, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Engage daily with prospects via in-person meetings, calls, emails, video conferences, and events.
- Provide accurate quotations, maintain documentation, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align efforts with company objectives.
- Track market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and payment terms within company guidelines.
- Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing to deliver impactful product promotions and events.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience (capital equipment in aesthetics strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
- Ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Self-starter with excellent territory management and prospecting skills.
- Skilled in developing new business and winning competitive deals.
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
