Overview

Area Sales Manager – Northern California

Location:

Northern California

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed capital equipment sales quota for the assigned territory.
  • Apply professional, ethical sales techniques to close new business.
  • Develop deep product knowledge through training and competitive analysis.
  • Generate awareness and demand through prospecting, lead follow-up, and strategic events.
  • Identify prospective customers via referrals, networking, and proactive outreach.
  • Engage daily with prospects via in-person meetings, calls, emails, video conferences, and events.
  • Provide accurate quotations, maintain documentation, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align efforts with company objectives.
  • Track market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts and payment terms within company guidelines.
  • Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing to deliver impactful product promotions and events.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience (capital equipment in aesthetics strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-starter with excellent territory management and prospecting skills.
  • Skilled in developing new business and winning competitive deals.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
