Position Summary
The Territory Manager is responsible for establishing and managing relationships within the sales accounts in the assigned territory. Identify, isolate, and pursue new customer acquisition, and conduct cold‑calls for potential leads and convert to closed business.
Duties and Responsibilities- Achieve minimum sales quota requirements as established by the Company.
- Satisfy all the Company’s customer care requirements as established.
- Develop and utilize all assets, reference sites, Company’s clinical specialists, and Company’s partner personnel within Territory to achieve short‑term and long‑term objectives.
- Generate sales leads principally by cold calling on dermatologists or plastic surgeons (including ASPS, Facial Plastic, Ophthalmic, Plastic and AACS cosmetic surgeons) and other physicians in the Territory.
- Maintain and manage a substantial lead pipeline while meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
- Provide timely reports to the Company’s headquarters and the Sales Manager regarding status of each lead and sales opportunity in pipeline through the CRM database.
- Identify and nurture all reference sites.
- Provide needed sales support at workshops, trade shows, sales meetings and seminars.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of the applications and performance of the Company’s products.
- Attend and promote workshops and support programs for the Territory in conjunction with the Sales Manager, marketing and clinical departments of the Company.
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
Medical device experience is a plus. - 2-5 years of outside business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Highly analytical, detail oriented and pride yourself on being organized (Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven experience coordinating with external vendors and customers.
- Comfortable working in an extremely fast‑paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as a team setting. Self‑starter, comfortable taking initiative and thinking on your feet.
- High degree of professionalism with outstanding ability to work effectively and efficiently with colleagues at all levels of management.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, motivated and organized, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
