As an Aerial Lineman
, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead fiber optic and coaxial wireline infrastructure. You will work at heights using climbing gear and aerial lift equipment to help build and maintain critical communication networks.

• Perform aerial installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic and coaxial cable lines.
• Safely climb utility poles using gaffs and operate bucket trucks to access aerial plant facilities.
• Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and construction prints.
• Lash fiber and coax cables onto strand and poles following specifications.
• Conduct pole transfers, strand building, guying, and anchoring tasks.
• Identify and resolve field construction issues quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain jobsite safety and proper equipment care.
• Travel to various job sites as required.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in aerial fiber/coax cable construction.
• Proficient in pole climbing with gaffs and use of aerial lifts.
• Strong ability to work at heights in diverse outdoor conditions.
• Familiarity with construction prints, schematics, and cable installation standards.
• Skilled in the use of lashers, rollers, and line hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
• Physical capability to lift 75 lbs., climb, bend, and stand for extended periods.

• Knowledge of NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) standards.
• Certified in aerial lift and pole climbing safety.
• Fiber optic splicing experience (a plus).
