Certified Welding Inspector; CWI

KTA offers coatings, steel, concrete fabrication, and building envelope inspection, evaluation, and testing services across nearly every market and industry.

KTA is recruiting Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) nationwide. All applicants must be willing to travel and work multiple shifts.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent – required
• Current AWS CWI certification – required
• Bridge fabrication inspection experience – preferred
• NDT experience is desirable
• AMPP (NACE) certification is desirable

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to navigate the internet

• Close, color, distance, depth vision and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to travel extensively and work outside, including in inclement weather
• Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces and uneven terrain
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs

Drug testing and criminal background and motor vehicle checks will be conducted.

Salary Range: $30–$42 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Hourly rate is based on experience and certifications.
