Brief Description

• Work with other employees to complete general project needs.
• Refurbish and repair a variety of rotating electrical apparatus.
• Read job cards to determine job status and work to be performed.
• Disassemble incoming electrical apparatus.
• Perform and record incoming visual and electrical inspections.
• Safely operate and understand a variety of test equipment.
• Assist with assembly of electrical apparatus under the guidance of a more senior craftsperson.
• Receive additional training with higher‑level employees in other functions of the department.

• 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
• Wear PPE required for the position as needed.
• Perform fine detail work with hands.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Work for any employer in the United States.
• Work overtime as needed and in the field at client sites.
• Willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.

• Electrical and mechanical background.

• Occasional lifting of heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
• Computer literate.
