HVAC Service Technician

The HVAC Service Technician will provide quality services and products, focusing on customer satisfaction and safety. Responsibilities include servicing, inspecting, and installing residential gas and electric appliances and equipment, complying with codes, and ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The technician will respond to utility-related calls, locate gas leaks, and take necessary safety measures.

The technician will promote customer satisfaction and sell Home Service Plus products and services, maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers. They will respond to emergencies, ensuring the safe delivery of natural gas and safety for all.

They will demonstrate efficient work practices, suggest improvements, operate and maintain company vehicles safely, control parts inventory, and maintain tools and equipment. The technician will also develop skills aligned with product and technology updates to provide excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have a 1- or 2-year diploma or associate degree in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning, or equivalent technical experience. Experience Tech B requires at least 2 years in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Tech A must have been a Tech B for 6 months, and Special Technician must have at least two years in the "A" Technician classification.
