Job TitleJourneymen HVAC Mechanic
Responsibilities- Service, troubleshoot, and clean heating and cooling equipment and related products, including air‑cooled and water‑cooled systems from 10 to 1,000 tons, various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, spot coolers, electric and gas heaters.
- Maintain, service, and set up service equipment and rigging equipment.
- Utilize strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all types and brands of HVAC equipment.
- Communicate professionally with employees, subcontractors, and customers.
- EPA Universal license (obtainable within 60 days of hire).
- 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC experience on all types of equipment.
- Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning heating and cooling equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable by company insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 35 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to climb ladders per OSHA regulations.
- Work in varied environmental conditions (outdoor temperature, noise, vibrations, gases, solvents, etc.).
- Availability for on‑call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
LU 455 or LU 539 benefit / compensation package earning potential.
