Field Service Engineer – Entry Level (On‑the‑job training provided)

M‑F Days

$26.00/hr – $32.00/hr DOE

Minneapolis, MN area

60%–80% domestic or occasional international travel (subject to customer business needs). All travel expenses are paid.

Full Time

• Perform on‑site service, installation, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Utilize electromechanical skills to provide excellent customer service.
• Participate in site safety programs to create a zero‑hazard environment.
• Understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Adhere to all site fab protocol requirements.
• Comprehend test equipment, including various meters and hand tools.
• Read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

• Work well with other team members.
• Demonstrate teamwork and strong partnership within the Equipment Maintenance Team.
• Mentor new technicians and learn from experienced colleagues.
• Value diverse points of view from Management, Operations, Engineering, and other teams.
• Collaborate effectively to deliver quality repairs daily.
• Travel 60%–80% domestic or occasionally international; overnight travel may be required.

• Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hands‑on skills and knowledge in mechanics and electronics.
• Ability to use hand tools, meters, and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Desire to learn new skills, work in a team, and become familiar with a fab/clean‑room environment.

May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, stand for 8–10 hours, and perform tasks such as bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
