We have an exciting opportunity for aSpecial Hazards/Fire Alarm Service Superintendent located in Minneapolis, MN.

How you will contribute:

The Special Hazards/Fire Alarm Superintendent is involved in managing the field technicians, equipment, and material procurement, supporting the Operations team with scheduling of inspections and small to mid-sized project installations. You are responsible for scheduling and conducting on-site safety audits to ensure the safety of employees and the worksite. You will be involved in performing inspections, testing, and installing small to mid-sized projects.

You will monitor and report on the progress and outcome of each inspection and project, problem-solve, and make adjustments as needed to maintain the quality, safety, and profitability of each job. You will be responsible for managing employees, management responsibilities which include attracting, hiring, and conducting performance reviews of each employee. In addition, you will need to coach, mentor, develop, train, and terminate employees.

What you need to qualify:

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma and have construction or service experience in the Special Hazards/Fire Alarm industry. Candidates must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, travel locally throughout the Twin Cities region for the position, and pass an appropriate drug screen and physical. Successful candidates must be self-starters, able to lead and direct others, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced service environment.

Estimated Compensation: $92,000-$120,000 plus bonus. This position is also eligible for a company vehicle and gas card. Final offers based on education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
