What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
  • Implement & support code for break-fix, maintenance, and enhancements, and integrate container platforms with automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications, features, and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code for the full technology stack
  • Ensure Delta methodologies, standards, and procedures are adopted and implemented
  • Provide efficient solutions and deliverables to shorten the project life cycle where applicable
  • Own the quality of the product by engaging closely in testing activities
  • Create visual models (flowcharts, class and activity diagrams, sequence diagrams)
  • Lead resolution of issues with interfacing systems built on different technologies
  • Facilitate and participate in regular scrum ceremonies
  • Support operationally critical environments using monitoring tools, data feeds, scripts, and analysis of production issues
  • Lead and mentor junior developers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Minimum 8 years of Software Development experience in a business environment, or equivalent experience in an educational setting
  • Expertise in Java backend, frontend, Angular, Node.js and related frameworks/tools, relational databases, Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL, Windows OS
  • Experience with web application frameworks and API technologies (JQuery, Angular

    JS, Swagger, JSP, Spring Boot)
  • Experience in GIT and Dev Ops pipelines including TDD and test automation
  • Experience in RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Git Lab, Git Lab CI, Maven, Gradle)
  • Expertise in Java 8/J2EE, design patterns, relational DB (Oracle), and PL/SQL
  • Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a time-sensitive, team environment with minimal supervision, results-oriented with attention to detail
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills ensuring timely information transmission
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills; initiative and drive
  • Commitment to safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, Docker and Open Shift
  • Experience with automation and test tools (Postman, Mockito, Sonar Qube)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and application migration to cloud
  • Test-driven development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
  • AWS Certified Developers – Associate
