Entry-Level Developer On-Site – Minneapolis

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an entry‑level or junior developer who’s passionate about building real‑world software and eager to grow in a fast‑moving startup environment that embraces AI in both coding and product development.

You’ll work closely with a seasoned founder and mentor to build an innovative SaaS platform that integrates agentic AI capabilities and uses AI‑assisted coding tools as part of the daily development workflow.

This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in downtown Minneapolis.

(No remote or out‑of‑state work options at this time.)

You’ll contribute across the stack — using Go (Golang) for backend services and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux) for the front end and infrastructure.

Knowledge of Go is optional — if you’re willing and excited to learn it on the job, we’ll help you get there.

• Build and maintain backend services using Go (Golang).
• Develop front‑end components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with SQL databases, APIs, and Linux environments.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools and contribute to AI‑driven product features.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and small team on architecture, product design, and feature planning.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Learn continuously, especially in areas like AI integration, automation, and Go development.

• 0–2 years of experience in software or web development (internships and side projects count).
• Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Comfortable using Linux or macOS command‑line tools.
• Eager to learn Go (Golang) and explore backend and AI‑assisted development.
• Strong curiosity about AI tools, automation, and modern development workflows.
• Self‑starter with a collaborative mindset.
• Must be based in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area and available to work on‑site full time.

• Experience with Go, Node.js, or Python.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Docker, Git, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Exposure to LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning APIs.
• Previous startup, open‑source, or freelance experience.
