Design, build, and optimize services that power API-driven applications. Own back-end architecture and implementation, collaborating across teams to ensure systems are performant, reliable, and scalable.

Type: 9+ Month Contract

Pay Information: $75 - $80/hr

As a Back-End Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the services that form the backbone of our API-driven applications. You'll dive into hands‑on technical work, owning the back-end architecture and implementation. Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to ensure our systems are performant and scalable. Lead the creation of microservices architectures and optimize REST APIs, ensuring secure and maintainable systems.

Play a pivotal role in troubleshooting distributed back-end systems.

• Design and develop back-end services using Java and Kotlin.
• Build and optimize REST APIs and data integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scalable solutions.
• Ensure system security and performance.
• Troubleshoot distributed back-end systems.

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot.
• Deep knowledge of API development and RESTful services.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) suite.
