Job Description

The Truck Loader is responsible for laying out loads, making sure they are scaled properly, strapping and securing the loads, and then tarping or closing up the trucks. The Truck Loader may be responsible for operating a tractor trailer or other specialized truck/vehicle that transports cargo to and from specified destinations. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service.

Loads and secures and unloads cargo. Maintains logs of travel and cargo to federal and state regulations. Assist with duties within the warehouse as needed.

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00/hr

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL Driver's License Endorsement required.
• Three plus years’ experience working around flatbed tractor trailers or other specialized trucks/vehicles.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with on-board computer systems a plus.
• Prior steel industry and product knowledge a huge plus.
• Ability to work on 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F.
