Warehouse Supervisor

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily warehouse operations. This position will also focus on process improvement, employee betterment, and increased customer satisfaction.

• Tracks and reviews incoming and outgoing freight schedules and receipts
• Supervises shuttle truck routes and scheduling to ensure customer needs are met
• Manages daily workflow within the department by establishing operating procedures and policies and prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work assignments
• Establishes package tracking standards
• Works with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timeliness
• Promotes company safety policies and contamination control efforts, ensuring both are observed
• Works closely with the Parts Operations Manager with issues regarding customers, employees, and equipment
• Along with Parts Operations Manager, interviews, selects, and hires employees for their team, following dealership hiring procedures
• Resolves workplace conflicts, taking appropriate, respectful, and consistent action to resolve performance issues and communicates/works with Parts Operations Manager as necessary
• Promotes and models good customer relations

• High School diploma or GED required, 4-year degree preferred
• 3 years of warehouse experience required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Warehouse or parts experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office and Dealer Business Systems Software knowledge preferred

The pay range for this position is $64,400.00 to $77,250.00 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.
