Associate Veterinarian – Minneola, Florida
A well-established small animal hospital in Minneola, Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who values strong client relationships, effective teamwork, and a commitment to exceptional veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for canine and feline patients.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients to ensure understanding of diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care recommendations.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient outcomes.
- Interpret diagnostic results, including laboratory tests, radiographs, and other imaging.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in mentorship, continuing education, and team development initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and client-focused hospital culture.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active or eligible Florida veterinary license.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills; comfort with routine procedures required.
- Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-doctor team.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care and professional ethics.
