Joining H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful. You’ll inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, and build client relationships that grow stronger every year.

• Inspire clients to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money and build lasting client relationships.
• Serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, receiving advanced tax training.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support. All certification levels can provide tax notice services;
  Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is not an offer or guarantee of employment.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and with virtual tools (video, phone, chat).
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted to provide applicants with information about potential earnings.
