Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant is responsible for a wide range of accounting functions across multiple business units. This role supports financial operations including accounts payable and receivable oversight, preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciliations, audit support, and sales tax filings. The Senior Accountant ensures accurate and timely financial reporting by researching, analyzing, and compiling accounting data, while also assisting with process improvements and system enhancements.
This position plays a key role in supporting leadership through consistent, reliable financial information and oversight of daily accounting activities.

This hybrid position is located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Currently, the team is on-site three days/week.
Salary: $75k - $95k/yr base salary plus discretionary bonus.

Roles & Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial statements accurately and on time
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account details
- Oversee and guide accounting support staff, reviewing work and processes
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Support year-end audits and prepare necessary documentation
- File sales tax returns and review quarterly payroll tax submissions
- Assist with project initiatives and new accounting implementations
- Maintain internal controls and ensure financial accuracy
- Conduct payables check runs and support daily cash reporting
- Act as liaison between accounting and other departments
- Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements
- Perform other duties as needed to support financial operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting and office software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
