Ready to take the next step in long‑term care leadership?
We are looking for a motivated, hands‑on Assistant Administrator to join our leadership team and help drive the day‑to‑day operations of our skilled nursing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands senior care, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow into a strong operational leader. You’ll work closely with the Administrator and department leaders while gaining experience in virtually every aspect of facility operations.
What You’ll DoSupport the Administrator with daily facility operations and leadership
Participate in daily stand‑up, operational meetings, and facility rounding
Help ensure residents receive exceptional care and customer service
Support survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and follow‑up activities
Work with Nursing, Social Services, Admissions, Dietary, Environmental Services, Therapy, HR, and Business Office teams
Assist with staffing, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement initiatives
Follow up on operational concerns and ensure issues are brought through to resolution
Assist with census growth, admissions, and community relationships
Review key operational metrics and help develop action plans when improvement is needed
Support QAPI and performance‑improvement initiatives
Help maintain a positive, accountable, team‑focused culture
Serve as a visible leadership presence for residents, families, and employees
We want someone who is:
Organized, dependable, and solutions‑focused
Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
A strong communicator who can work effectively with multiple departments
Able to prioritize in a fast‑moving healthcare environment
Interested in learning the operational and regulatory side of skilled nursing
Willing to be visible, involved, and present throughout the facility
Passionate about building strong teams and creating a great resident experience
Previous skilled nursing, healthcare operations, department leadership, or management experience is strongly preferred.
A current Nursing Home Administrator license, Administrator‑in‑Training experience, or interest in pursuing nursing home administration is a plus.
Why Join Us?This is not a position where you sit behind a desk all day. You will be involved in the operation, learn alongside experienced leaders, and have the opportunity to build the skills needed to advance your career in long‑term care leadership.
If you are someone who sees a problem and thinks “How can I help fix it?” instead of waiting for someone else to take care of it, we would love to meet you.
