Location: Centerville
Overview
Commercial Landscape Project Estimator and Designer position at Dream Scapes Landscaping & Design, Inc., Centerville, MN.
Responsibilities- The Commercial Project Estimator will support growth of commercial construction by seeking bid opportunities from sources such as MBEX and directly with builders, construction managers, architects, etc.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and assess site conditions of potential projects prior to bidding.
- Accurately calculate total costs for construction projects and create estimates using LMN software.
- Review bids from subcontractors to select the most cost-effective options.
- 3+ years of experience estimating landscape or building construction
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Mathematics, or related field
- Ability to assess grades, read plans, communicate with clients, and problem solve
- Ability to manage the high stress of tight deadlines and the major responsibility of accurately estimating the project budget
- Keen analytical skills
- Knowledgeable in LMN (Landscape Management Network) software preferred
- Drug Free
