Aitkin High School is searching for a part-time Musical Set Designer to work with staff and students for the  school spring musical. This part-time position will be responsible for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of the set design and construction.

• Assist the musical director as needed in building and designing the set.
• Perform other relevant duties regarding the set designs.
• Supervise students and assist in the set design process.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in rehearsals and daily set changes to enhance performances.
• Work with musical directors with lighting, sound, blocking and staging of scenes.

• Evidence of and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills when working with other staff, parents, community members, supervisors, and students.
• Ability to receive feedback and adjust accordingly.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to further the benefits of student participation in co-curricular activities.
• Ability to perform essential job functions or as assigned.
