Position: Supervisory Paraprofessional

Rate: $21.19 - $22.87 per hour per the  Paraprofessional Agreement

FTE: 2.5 hours a day

Hours:  School Year, Monday - Friday Student Contact Days

The successful candidate will be able to effectively accomplish the below job duties:
  • Active supervision during Indoor/outdoor recess and inside the cafeteria for students K-4.
  • Ability to be outside in all types of weather conditions including snow, rain, and sleet.
  • Enjoys working with children; able to build relationships and mediate conflict.
  • Part of a team of three; able to communicate and collaborate with adults.
  • Monitoring student behavior; peer mediation and problem resolution.
  • Encourages students to observe considerate and safe behavior.
  • Reports all incidents of unacceptable student behavior to the principal.
  • Keeping the principal informed of unacceptable student behavior or impending student behavior problems.
  • Monitors all assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Attending all meetings as assigned by principal.
  • Performing work assigned to accomplish the objectives of the total school program.
  • Patience, experience with student mediation preferred.
  • This position works with a large number of children.
