Engineering Manager

Position Summary

To lead the product development and life cycle management process for the Condux product portfolio. To drive profitability and innovation throughout the product offering. Drive product life cycle strategy by leading a team of engineers through the full product development lifecycle with a focus on Continuous Improvement.

Essential Duties

· Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design and development of innovative product.

· Drive New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept through production, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.

· Oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions.

· Implement and maintain ISO-compliant engineering processes and documentation.

· Champion Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize product cost, quality, and performance.

· Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement across engineering practices and product lines.

· Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and field service teams to ensure seamless product launches and support.

· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements

· Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).

· Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years experience in leading teams or in a management role.

· Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex engineering projects.

· Hands-on experience with New Product Development and ISO quality systems.

· Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability and Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

· Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, independence, and motivation.

· Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.

· Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (Creo preferred).

· Knowledge of drafting standards and mathematics.

· Ability to work in a team and independently.

· At least 2 years' experience as a design drafter or a similar role.

· Excellent communication skills for collaborative work.

· Familiarity with manufacturing and engineering processes.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.

· Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
