What Will You Do?
- Ensure timely and continuous quality service to the customer, via phone or site visits.
- Coordinate with the manager on customer communication.
- Maintain tools and test equipment used for commissioning/service.
- Coordinate contact with all levels of supervision.
- Read and understand electrical and plumbing schematics; use troubleshooting tools and meters.
- Perform and report testing results, logging as required.
- Adhere to contractual service agreements and work instructions.
- Perform quality tests to ensure product quality.
- Weld using MIG and/or TIG in field conditions.
- Install equipment such as bulk tanks, pipe, vaporizers, skids, dosers, etc.
- Apply ISO 9000 standards.
- Observe safety procedures and policies.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
- Extensive travel to customer sites.
- Office and plant work.
- Exposure to metal cuttings, welding odors, temperature extremes.
- Occasional weekend and holiday work.
- Use of personal protective equipment.
- Frequent standing, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, walking.
- Frequent lifting up to 75 lbs., occasional heavier lifting.
- Occasional pushing and pulling of materials up to 40 lbs.
Your Experience Should Be...
- At least 1-2 years of experience, TIG welding experience, preferably with piping.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and field service.
- Ability to read electrical and plumbing schematics preferred.
- Ability to work well in teams and independently.
- Ability to read and understand detailed blueprints.
- Working knowledge of PCs, including MS Office and JD Edwards.
- Basic understanding of industrial controls and PLCs.
- Basic understanding of cryogenic liquids, gases, and thermodynamics.
