Training and Support

Hiring Minimum / Maximum

Minimum: $29.08 Maximum: $30.90

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepen relationships with existing clients.
  • Gather information and collect suitability data to open new accounts.
  • Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, and changes to portfolio construction; make recommendations to the Financial Advisor and communicate to clients on behalf of the advisor when consensus is reached.
  • Execute advisor‑solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients.
  • Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones stock recommendations and withdrawals.
  • Participate actively in business planning and teamwork to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies.
  • Continually develop oneself to grow personally and professionally.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve a wide variety of issues related to personalized investment solutions, involving the financial advisor when appropriate.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during an assigned study period.
  • FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses also required.

As an associate, you will be required to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and/or SEC). Complete required CE training to keep your licenses in good standing.
