Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $ Annually
Job SummaryEvaluate, authorize or recommend approval of loans specific to your expertise (i.e.: commercial, real estate, agricultural, consumer, credit). Advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payments. Develops credit relations with customers and promotes other banking services.
Accountabilities- Evaluates loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness
- Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
- Improves loan applications and documentation by informing applicant of additional requirements
- Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services
- Approves loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to loan committee for approval
- Completes loan contracts by explaining provisions to applicant; obtaining signatures and notarizations; collecting fees
- Review and update credit and loan files
- Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy
- Stay informed of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers’ needs
- Helps customers by answering questions and responding to requests
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have delinquent loans
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping loan information confidential
- Meet with customers at off‑site locations
- Superior understanding of lending processes
- Continuing focus on providing a superior customer experience
- Performs job accountabilities with a high level of accuracy and timeliness
- Develops and maintains knowledge of compliance and internal control requirements necessary to complete the job
- Uphold the employment guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Perform duties in compliance with policy, procedure and process
