Overview
The purpose of these positions is to serve as a Pharmacy Resident Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) in a training position performing a variety of developmental assignments intended to increase or further the knowledge, skills, and abilities in the incumbent's area of expertise. Positions report to their respective Local Residency Program Director.
DutiesThe pharmacy residency is an organized, directed, postgraduate training in a defined area of pharmacy practice. The graduate will have refined skills in drug therapy management, disease state management, patient consultation, interviewing techniques, laboratory test interpretation and physical assessment. The graduate will be able to communicate and function effectively with other health care professionals in the IHS and understand their roles and those of the organization.

- Background Investigation:
If you are selected for this vacancy, you must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint check and background investigation. Fingerprint results and background investigation documentation must be cleared prior to hire.
