No phlebotomy experience or certification required! Must be available to train full‑time if little to no phlebotomy experience.

• Prepping & performing phlebotomy on children up to elderly patients
• Preparing samples for pickup
• Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
• Charting blood draws

Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients/residents; explains procedures to patients/residents and collects information from them in a professional manner. Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients/residents; ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures.

Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory‑related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
