There is a medical clinic located in the complex as well as a satellite medical clinic in Karlstad, Minnesota.

Job SummaryA License Practical Nurse (LPN) in a nursing home involves providing essential care to residents, assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and monitoring health conditions. LPNs collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the well-being of patients and maintain accurate records of their care. Strong communication skills and compassion are vital in this role of supporting both residents and their families.
Job Requirements- Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in documentation and patient assessment.
- In-depth knowledge of body systems and functions to assess and manage patient health effectively.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Competence in wound care management.
- Knowledge of patient mobility assistance.
- Familiarity with care planning and documentation.
- Strong communication with healthcare teams.
- High level of accuracy data entry; ensure patient safety, effective communication, and quality care.
- Comprehension and delivery of patient safety and healthcare ethics.
- Awareness of regulatory compliance in long-term care
- Completion of accredited nursing program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current MN LPN license.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in Long Term Care.
- Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting.
- Complete TB test within the first 4 weeks of employment.

- Part-Time
- 6:00am – 2:30pm OR 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Long Term Care setting
