Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in healthcare or LTC settings

Ability to work part-time shifts from 3 PM to 8 PM daily, with optional weekend doubles

Willingness to pass meals to residents and work in a kitchen environment

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with facility standards and dietary guidelines
  • Pass meals to residents in a timely, friendly manner
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper food handling protocols
  • Ensure all food served is high quality and safely prepared
  • Assist with inventory and stock rotation of kitchen supplies
  • Collaborate with staff to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies rigorously
  • Support meal service during scheduled shifts from 3 PM to 8 PM, with optional doubles on weekends to reach 40 hours / week
