Grace Living Community of Glen Oaks, part of the Benedictine Health System, is a 58 bed not-for-profit long term care facility. We provide both traditional long-term care and Transitional Care for residents needing medically complex skilled nursing services.
Job DescriptionThe Nursing Assistant (NAR) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. The Nursing Assistant completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position.
Qualifications- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience is preferred
- CPR certified preferred. May obtain after hire.
