We are seeking a Data Engineering Manager to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL jobs for processing and transferring large data volumes.
- Manage data ingestion from multiple external sources (e.g., pharmacy data) through AWS cloud environments to client on-premise servers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, quality, and security
. - Oversee and mentor a team of Data Engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices in development and deployment.
- Define architecture using AWS CDK and Cloud Formation for infrastructure as code.
- Partner with clients to gather requirements, assess business goals, and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Integrate and optimize tools such as Snowflake
, Databricks
, and Lake Formation for advanced data processing. - Implement data clean rooms and support privacy-compliant data-sharing solutions.
- Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of systems.
- Stay current on modern data engineering technologies and recommend improvements.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Engineering Manager
, with a strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes. - Proficiency in Python
, Type Script , and AWS (including CDK, Cloud Formation, S3, Lambda, SQS, Athena, Cloud Watch, Delta Lake and Glue). - Solid understanding of data governance
, data quality
, and data lifecycle management
. - Experience with Snowflake
, Databricks
, Lake Formation
, and Data Lakes is a strong plus. - Hands-on experience designing cloud-based architectures and deploying secure data solutions.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills — ability to engage directly with clients and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team.
How much experience must I have?In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
