Senior UX Designer
Location:
Wayzata, MN - Hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour
Job SummaryAs a Senior UX Designer, you will design and develop engaging user experiences for a variety of digital products. Acting as a seasoned professional individual contributor, you will work independently to translate complex user needs and business requirements into high‑quality web and mobile features. You will ensure all designs align with established brand guidelines and accessibility standards while coaching cross‑functional team members to ensure products meet both user needs and strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Design Creation:
Utilize advanced design tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups to communicate concepts and strategies. - User Research & Analysis:
Lead user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights on efficiency, utility, and value perception. - Collaboration:
Partner with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to design visually appealing, responsive, and accessible interfaces. - Design Iteration:
Lead the refinement of designs based on stakeholder feedback and user data to continuously improve the user experience. - Documentation:
Prepare and review comprehensive UX documentation, including user personas and journey maps. - Brand & Accessibility:
Provide oversight to ensure all digital products remain consistent with brand identity and global accessibility standards. - Mentorship:
Stay current with industry trends and coach team members on UX best practices and standard methodologies.
- Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in UX/Product Design (5+ years preferred). - Technical
Skills:
High proficiency in product design and prototyping tools, as well as in‑depth knowledge of user testing software. - Problem Solving:
Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑layered projects and solve difficult design challenges independently. - Communication:
Strong ability to influence policies and procedures and communicate design strategies to diverse stakeholders.
- Execute with Excellence:
Ability to anticipate obstacles and contribute to end‑to‑end execution. - Partner with Impact:
Deep understanding of business and customer needs to identify risks and benefits of solutions. - Digital Fluency:
Integration of new technologies and data‑driven decision‑making into the design process. - Lead Change:
Resiliency in navigating uncertainty and supporting teams through evolving processes.
- Interview Process:
Interviews will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. - Compliance:
