Early Career Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

As part of Aspen Tech’s Digital Grid Management team, you will focus on helping electric utilities improve how they monitor and manage the grid. Our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) is a key solution that supports safe, reliable, and efficient power delivery. Within ADMS we have our Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS).

• Assist with reviews of utility business processes and help document workflows.
• Support project teams by gathering requirements and preparing basic analysis.
• Learn about electric distribution operations and ADMS technology to provide input during project activities.
• Help with change management efforts by preparing materials and supporting communication.
• Contribute to implementation tasks such as testing, documentation, and design support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field and internship experience required.
• Ability to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.

The salary range for this role is $64,200.00 - $80,200.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
