• Lead the preconstruction process for HVAC and plumbing projects, including planning, budgeting, estimating, and early design development.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams.
• Build relationships with new clients while providing exceptional service to existing ones.

• Lead all preconstruction activities: prospecting, design coordination, estimating, budgeting, and feasibility analysis.
• Work with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to define project scopes and ensure constructability.
• Review mechanical and plumbing system designs; provide value-engineering recommendations.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates and project proposals.
• Manage bid processes, subcontractor outreach, qualifications, and procurement planning.
• Ensure smooth handoff from preconstruction to operations and project management teams.
• Monitor industry trends, codes, and best practices to enhance internal processes.
• Support business development with technical expertise and client presentations.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, mechanical/plumbing design, or project management.
• Strong expertise in commercial, multi-family, and institutional construction.
• Experience with estimating software, BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, or related tools (preferred, not required).
• Strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing codes, construction methods, and cost analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• PE license preferred, but not required.
