NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Production Manufacturing Supervisor – CNC Machining to join our 1st‑shift Circular Products team!

Job Title: Production Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Winsted, MN

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 per year (Exempt role)

Shift

Schedule:

1st shift Monday – Thursday 5am – 3pm

Shift Differential: 1st shift – N/A (Exempt Role)

Responsibilities
  • Lead a production team, including providing direction to team leads, to ensure weekly and monthly schedules are completed to meet or exceed company expectations.
  • Assure all safety requirements (training and PPE) are met and lead the reduction of safety‑related incidents in the department.
  • Provide direction in resolving technical and production‑related problems.
  • Monitor the alignment of the production area with the master production schedule and material planning to meet production goals.
  • Ensure all team members are trained and cross‑trained in accordance with work instructions, standard operating procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Provide leadership to employees in the department including hiring, performance management, coaching, counseling and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate communication, coordination and conflict resolution within and among work groups.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts, leading and assigning actions.
  • Conduct start‑up meetings and provide visual insights to team members.
  • Ensure all inspection and work order sign‑offs are completed.
  • Promote a positive team environment and drive inclusion.
  • Respond to Team Lead support with escalation for employee questions and concerns.
  • Communicate management directives and provide clarity of policies as necessary.
  • Audit processes.
  • Consistently demonstrate and promote Millerbernd's core values.
  • Monitor and update timecards in ADP or ensure proper delegation to team leader.
Qualifications
  • Preferred:
    Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience providing direction and building a high‑performing team
    • Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Preferred:
    Welding process knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and lead in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet production timelines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Desire to reinforce safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems, make decisions, and direct action.
  • Ability to read and understand internal manufacturing paperwork and engineering documentation.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Ability to work well with all employees and earn mutual respect.
  • Acceptance and application of on‑the‑job training to advance skill level.
