The Welding & Prototype Technician supports Product Development by performing complex welding, fabrication, and prototype assembly. This role requires a creative, adaptable team member who can work independently, adjust to changing schedules, and make effective use of available resources.

- Perform complex welding, fabrication, and assembly of prototype components and structures to meet defined specifications.
- Support Product Development objectives within project timelines, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and drafting practices to execute builds.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams while maintaining the ability to work independently.
- Utilize knowledge of various manufacturing processes to support prototype development.
- Assist with builds and maintenance on local parks as required.
- Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges during prototype development.
- Maintain high standards of precision and craftsmanship in all tasks.

- Experience in welding steel and aluminum using various machine applications
- Ability to fabricate and weld parts independently with minimal direction.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and CAD models for prototype builds.
- Proficient in assembling components based on installation documentation and CAD specifications.
- Experience operating a wide variety of power tools and fabrication machinery.
- Ability to create custom fixturing and tooling to complete parts as needed, preferred
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong understanding of prototyping processes and willingness to support miscellaneous product development tasks.
The target hourly range is $28.00 - $34.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit‑sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full‑time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays;
