Forklift Operator

AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Winsted Minnesota facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the receipt and/or shipment of materials, supplies, and products. You will be working primarily in the yard in an enclosed forklift/spotter truck. Must be able to work outside in multiple weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive goods, verify order, inspect condition of goods
• Move product to and from storage, production areas, and loading dock via forklift
• Scale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale
• Upload photos and documents into our system
• Coordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personal
• Verify identifying information – counts, weights, measurements, etc. against BOLs, invoices, orders and/or other records
• Performs daily inspection of equipment
• Follows all necessary processes and procedures in AZZ’s truck driver policy
• Forklift experience preferred though not necessary
• Position will cross train to various other roles within production

• 1 – 2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs, knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Certified forklift operator is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent is helpful
