Overview
Light manufacturer of medical device components in a clean, climate-controlled factory environment, building life-saving products. Join the AMETEK EMC team in Jackson, MN with full-time schedules. Our facility is a light industrial environment with standing or seated work and comprehensive training; prior experience is not required.
Responsibilities- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Conducts quality control checks.
- Cleans and maintains the work area and equipment, including tools.
- Prepares work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, such as shop packets, standard work instructions, and various visual aids.
- Ability to use basic math and measuring devices.
- Good manual dexterity is helpful.
- Good time management to work at a steady pace, handling word orders and demands.
- Ability to handle basic tools.
