Paint Booth Operator – Weekend Day

Brief DescriptionThe Paint Booth Operator is responsible for all beams and processes associated with repaints, including sanding, prep, and painting. This person will be accountable for the safety, quality, and efficiency of the Paint Booth operations and may assist in other plant areas as needed.
Shifts Available- Weekend Day | Friday–Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
GEOTEK’s compensation model is skill‑based. Starting pay levels are determined by previous experience and transferable skills. The range for this position is:
- Level 1: $19.00 – $20.25
- Level 2: $20.25 – $22.50
- Level 3: $22.50 – $24.00
- Level 4: $24.00 – $25.50
Hiring manager will determine pay level based on experience, skill set, and knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities- Paint re‑paint product from Pultrusion department
- Record chemical usage accurately
- Paint product according to Geotek quality standards
- Work in Pultrusion/Secondary/Packaging/Shipping areas during slow times or drying periods
- Improve process and efficiency in the Paint Booth area
- Support inventory and EPA emissions reporting by timely reporting all chemical usage
- Close attention to detail
- Able to read and write in English
- Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure
- Can work autonomously and lead with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety
- Position is on the production floor; standing for up to 12 hours a day
- Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
