PositionSummary
Vibration Analysis Technician – Full‑time, St. Paul, MN. This role supports the predictive maintenance program through vibration data collection and advanced analysis. The position offers full benefits but does not include per diem.
Key Responsibilities- Perform vibration data collection routes using Emerson AMS 2140 and Emerson Machinery Health Manager (MHM).
- Conduct high‑level analysis and generate detailed reports.
- Collaborate with plant personnel and reliability teams to ensure asset health and integrity.
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Dismantle machines, move machinery and equipment, and assemble/install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines, and blowers.
- Align machines and equipment using reverse alignment methods.
- Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundations or other structures.
- Operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
- Participate in grouting activities for equipment base plates.
- ISO 10816 certification required.
- Experience with Emerson AMS 2140 and MHM software strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data trends.
- Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required.
Final compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Demands- Climb ladders, scaffolds, and structures above and below ground level.
- Maintain balance on ladders, scaffolds, and structures.
- Reach in all directions and manipulate objects and materials.
- Lift 30–50 pounds from ground level, waist level, or overhead.
- Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, crouch, and.
- Operate tools and equipment requiring coordination of eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Work in excessive heat or cold and in loud environments.
- Wear respirator and other personal protective equipment as required.
- Perform typing and data entry tasks.
- Use stepstool for elevated work.
