Salary Range: $18-$21/hr

The Kitter is responsible for preparing, organizing, and staging kits of stainless-steel parts, components, and materials required to support fabrication, assembly, and production operations. This role supports production by ensuring materials are accurate, complete, clearly identified, and available when needed to minimize downtime and improve workflow. The Kitter works closely with production, planning, and inventory teams to support efficient and safe shop floor operations.

• Deliver raw materials, components, and supplies to production lines according to production schedules
• Stage materials at designated workstations to support uninterrupted production flow
• Monitor material usage and notify inventory or supervision of shortages or replenishment needs
• Remove completed parts, empty containers, and scrap from production areas as required
• Maintain accurate material flow by following job travelers, kanban signals, or work instructions
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, handled, and stored in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S requirements
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve material flow
• Support production operators as needed

High school diploma or GED required

Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Basic understanding of manufacturing safety practices

Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Safely navigating a manufacturing environment. Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
