Position Summary
The Campus Life Specialist is a role requiring spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with others, and strong communication skills. S/he must embody YFC’s Cultural Attributes:
Christ-centeredness, humility, trust, faithfulness, joy, and diversity. The role involves relational ministry to develop authentic Christ-sharing relationships with young people within YFC’s ministry model.
Essential Functions
Ministry Team Development (40%)
• Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leaders
• Connect local churches with the ministry site
• Provide training materials and standards for ministry leaders
• Advocate for young people in the community
• Report progress and updates to YFC
Relational Ministry Action Development (50%)
• Manage and serve in Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs)
• Lead the 3 Story Team to meet RMA standards
• Develop programming materials
• Train and evaluate ministry site leaders
Spiritual Responsibilities
As part of YFC’s mission to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, employees are expected to:
• Seek God’s guidance through prayer
• Participate in prayer, devotion, and worship
• Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC events
• Model empathy, humility, and care, promoting equity and inclusion
Employees may have opportunities for licensing or ordination as ministers.

Credentials & Education
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of ministry experience
Fundraising Responsibilities
• Actively participate in fundraising activities, including inviting donors, recruiting contacts, and ministering to donors.
