NP/PA – Emergency Medicine – Fosston, MN (0.6 FTE)

Location: Fosston, MN.

Base Pay Range: $59.00/hr – $83.00/hr.

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision‑making skills, working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The NP/PA may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.

• Provide comprehensive emergency department coverage, including 1–24 hour shifts per week.
• Conduct advanced health assessments and make clinical decisions independently.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to achieve team objectives and ensure continuity of patient and family care.
• Deliver high‑level customer service: establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co‑workers, and others.
• Maintain documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Education/Training:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Family Medicine and ER advanced practice experience required.

Licensure/

Certifications:

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• National certification in the applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

Experience: Preference for candidates with 2+ years of practice experience in Emergency Medicine settings.

0.6 FTE, part‑time status with $20,000 starting bonus pro‑rated to FTE.

Eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production‑based compensation.
