• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where the clinician will practice
• Current CPR certification with hands‑on component (training provided if required)
• TB skin test current within the last 12 months
• Six months of hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously observe, assess patient condition and care needs and report changes to supervisor or physician.
• Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, and coordination of care promptly.
• Develop, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
• Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
• Recognize changes in patient needs and implement care to prevent or reduce risk.
• Maintain personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide care using infection control measures that protect both staff and patient according to OSHA standards.
• Educate patient and family about disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies to meet nursing needs.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing competencies by participating in educational programs, continuing education units, and internal learning management activities.

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
• Current, unrestricted state RN license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification (we have CPR instructors)
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
